This just sucks. And so this might be. You know your body's way of waking you up and being like yo. This just doesn't feel in alignment. Speaker 1:Anybody feel like you know you're just in a rut, or like all the days are the same or every day is groundhog day. You're spinning your wheels. Yes, yes, who's been there? These hands? Yeah, I had a couple of decades of that. Oh my gosh, just yeah, stuck in the loop, hamster wheel Plugged into the matrix.
Speaker 2:Yes, some might say. Yeah, it's a feeling I know really deeply. I definitely was asleep for a good long time. My teacher, dr Matt, who we had recently, talks about the Iago trance, and it's this trance of just like waking up, going to work, eating evening activities, go to bed and just being in that loop and not knowing how to break that cycle. And I was there for a long time. I worked at Guitar Center I think I've talked about this before Terrible company to work for, and I was there for nine years and I just kept finding myself. There was like mini promotions, like I went from the door to this office but like nothing actually changed. Yeah, things definitely got worse at the company but yeah just like over and over.
Speaker 2:I'm like how the hell? And then you feel like you're just gonna explode yeah, have you been there?
Speaker 1:yeah, I mean I felt that way waitressing where it was just like same shit, different the customers they come in, blah, blah, blah. Then we drank at happy hour, then we go home or went out, and then same thing the next day and then switch restaurants. So now we're not quite sure how to get out of it, so I'm really excited to talk about breaking that cycle and getting out of that rut. Speaker 1:Yes, the question phone. It's a texter. Okay, they texted, all right. What do you do when you feel like life is stuck on repeat and nothing is changing? Every day feels like the same cycle Wake up, work, eat, doom scroll, sleep, repeat. I have all these dreams and things I say I want to do, but I can't seem to break out of this rut. How do you actually get unstuck when it feels like you're living in quicksand Signed Stuck, he him Stuck. Thank you so much for bringing this to the light and bringing this to the space, because you are not alone, my friend. There are many, many people who are in their house by themselves, also stuck in this cycle of I wake up, I go to work, I eat one thing and then I'm doom scrolling and then we go to sleep yeah, I, you know the the doom scrolling is a very serious addiction yeah all all the way, like I know this feeling and I mentioned it a little bit before but there's definitely a calling inside, like the fact that you have dreams placed inside of you.
Speaker 2:Those are not put there in vain, like they are meant for you, and my invitation is what happens when you start to listen to those dreams inside? I remember when I felt like I was stuck in the rat race and it was the blessing of the pandemic, and I was sitting in meditation. I'm like fuck, I just know there's so much more to this and the pandemic was such a gift because it was a disruption that came from the outside that I don't think I could have disrupted from the inside. And I was sitting in meditation and I got the clear message to quit the rat race and go on a honeymoon, yeah, and I could not be more just blessed that I followed that intuition because I knew something had to give and if it truly did feel like death, like that cycle of just going, and I just knew I did not love what I was doing. And can you sit with your dreams?
Speaker 2:you know, not just let them be what they are, but like write them all out, like, like, what would I create if I didn't have blockages? What would I create if failure wasn't an option? What would I do? And let yourself, if limits weren't there, what would I do? Who would I be? What would I create? What would I have? And let yourself just dream unfiltered for a while, and you'll see that even the dreams you think you have, they go so much deeper.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's so powerful when we allow ourselves to tap into our dreams and it feels like like Lissette shared, like there was the outside stimulus for her with the pandemic, for us, I us with the pandemic and you, even writing to us, is a light inside, being like hello, hello, hello, hello, hello.
Speaker 1:Like maybe like a little kid in your house in your mind flipping on the light switch, being like, hey, something needs to be different. And I believe our dreams are sacred, our desires are sacred and they are put into our heart from a most divine letting us know what is in store for us and letting us know what's on our path and what's connected to our purpose. So I would love to invite you to just start to even think about your connection to your purpose. What do you actually want to do? What makes you happy? What would light you up? What would be just, what would tickle you to play with, to create, to be, to enjoy, and allow yourself to start to allow those dreams to get even bigger and maybe take an action step towards those dreams, towards what you want to create.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's the slightest thing. I discussed recently how I took some control over my physical health. And to circle back on the doom scrolling, tiktok was coming to an end and I was going, going going. I was like ah must consume, tiktok was coming to an end and I was going going go. I was like ah must consume, and Brittany and I ordered a little walking pad and the rule was no doom scrolling unless you're on the walking pad.
Speaker 1:I know, Although I think TikTok for me is more joy scrolling but yeah, you're right, you're right, it was.
Speaker 2:And. But the opportunity to tie the person you're becoming to this little habit that you don't love, you know, my invitation is also what if you, instead of doom scrolling, like, take 30 minutes of that time that you would just be doing nothing, go like from seven to 730. I'm going to journal, oh yes, I'm going to reflect on my day. I'm going to write gratitude, I'm going to start setting my sights not on what is, but the blessings that I have throughout my day, the things that I'm creating, just to get yourself out of that rut, because, being constantly doom scrolling, you're just taking in other people's opinions. Like I know, sometimes I'm in a great mood and I'll just look at something I'm like.
Speaker 2:Well, I'm in a bad mood now you know, or like I wasn't scared about that before this.
Speaker 1:Yes, yes, yes yes, I feel like the root is a symptom, and sometimes we think of it as like oh, this is the problem, but it's actually a symptom. And I feel like the symptom, but it's actually a symptom. And I feel like the symptom, like the root of it, is like not being in alignment with yourself, with what you actually desire, what you want. And I know for myself personally, when I was experiencing like deep and chronic depression and like depressive episodes, like it was just like, and your dreams are letting you know what actually is an alignment. And so it's this invitation, yet again, like what would light you up, and I know you're he, him, but this is how I talk to my clients in the pleasure pod.
Speaker 1:It's like what would make your pussy wet. You know what gets you excited, what makes the juices flow where you're like. I must get out of this bed. I must show up to this thing.
Speaker 2:I must, you know, and start to reflect and allow yourself to play with that yeah, it's wild being on a fitness journey and showing up every day and I'm just like I remember when I first started, I'm like gotta show up another day, gotta show up another day. And then all of a sudden, I was like instantly in a better mood. Yeah, and I'm like whoa, like your got to show up another day, got to show up another day. And then all of a sudden I was like instantly in a better mood and I'm like whoa, like my body can create its own endorphins.
Speaker 1:I know.
Speaker 2:You know, and if you're feeling upset, like if there's a conflict inside, something is needing your attention. Your dreams are like I'm dying in this reality. Please pay attention to me and start to just bring a curiosity to. What is it? What is it that your soul is calling?
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And lean into that, like even the tiniest step of you know, I don't know why. I'm just like what, if you want to do woodworking, yeah, like that lights you up and you're like, okay, well, I want to do woodworking, but uh, it takes action, any action. Just go to home depot, you know like, create something, buy yourself some tools, anything that that is a tiny action, a vote toward the person you're becoming, is is a break in the pattern and we really need to interrupt the pattern, the, the trance that you're in, the, the yago trance that you're just like you know, eat, walk, sleep, do them scroll, like. Interrupt that pattern with anything and your soul will start to light up I love to also interrupt the pattern with why.
Speaker 1:Ask yourself why? Why do I work where I work? Why do I do what I do? Why am I going to these places? Why am I hanging out with these people?
Speaker 1:If none of this is bringing me joy, why am I doing it? And it can be really easy to be like, well, I'm going to work because I need money, yeah, but is that the only place you can make money? Is that the only way you can make money? There's so much in there. So start even asking yourself why am I making the choices that I'm currently making? If they don't feel good and they're not in alignment, why am I doing them? When we start asking ourselves like, why am I doing this? I ask myself this in my business. Sometimes it's like, well, why are you doing this? Oh, someone else told me I should. Does it bring me joy? No, are the metrics hidden? No, why am I doing it? And then it's like it's so. Then you're like, don't need that, don't need this. Maybe, like you should say, woodworking. You know, people get paid to play video games on the internet. It's a wild time to be alive. It's a beautiful time to be alive.
Speaker 2:Anything, anything, anything. You'd be surprised what you get paid to do.
Speaker 1:Yes, and it's. You get surprised by what you tuning into, what actually is lighting you up and what your dreams are. I'll never forget. I met a dear woman on set. Her name is tabitha brown.
Speaker 1:If you, uh, know the internet and food and vegan, you might know her. She's a fucking sensation, um, but she talked about how she was just driving for uber and, like you know, she was feeling down. She heard like a spirit tell her like hey, go vegan. And all of her health problems started to go away when she switched to being vegan. Now, this is her journey.
Speaker 1:And she happened to be at Whole Foods and there was some kind of like little vegan sandwich and she ate half in her car in between Uber shifts. And she was like I'm going to just go on live and talk about this. She went on live, did the rest of her shift, woke up the next morning and she was a viral sensation. Whole Foods called her, got the sandwich, stocked nationwide it is still one of their number one sold out things and it completely changed her life.
Speaker 1:Now she's nominated for awards, she has TV shows, she has a line at Target, it's all these things, but it's like all she did was follow her dream of like I want to be healthy. And what she heard was like go vegan, turn on your camera. Like it can be as simple as just that to be the switch that completely transforms your life. And we both have experienced that of like putting down what doesn't serve, what other people say you should do, or just feeling like, oh, this is what it means to be an adult, to be a human, to play in the matrix, and it's like boo, leave it.
Speaker 2:Boo, we don't live by that. The quitting the rat race download was so divine for me and all the doors that it opened. You know I'm an emotional ninja. That is a title I've created for myself and it fucking works. People come to me, people pay me. Wonderful, I am so blessed that I get to help people let go of the thing that's keeping them small, and they pay me generously for it. Because I fucking decided that's what I wanted to do, because there was a light inside of me that said you can do better.
Speaker 2:And that's what you're telling us right here. You're telling us that there's something, you have a dream and you're stuck in a rut. Great way to identify where you are you have to know where you are, to know where you're going. Good, you're stuck. Let's go fucking put that car in a drive.
Speaker 1:And it could be with the tiniest thing.
Speaker 1:Yeah, as they say, the best time to plant a tree was 25 years ago. The next best time is today. So we ask you, what is something that you can do today? Maybe it's scheduling a call with Lisette and determining, like, am I having a baggage problem or am I having an action problem, and how can I get support with that? Maybe it's, you know, going to paint your mailbox or do woodworking or something. Maybe starting a new group, driving to a different neighborhood after work and wandering around and hugging the trees in a different neighborhood. Try it, it's very you. It's very you, but allowing yourself to start to make the shift. You are the only one who can change your life. For you, we are here as guides and lights on the path, and only you can take the sacred action towards creating a better life and, like I know, you can do this.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Most people don't even know they're asleep. I know it's a beautiful day when you wake up and like the sim was on standby and you're like wait a second.
Speaker 1:Wait a second. Wait un minuto. Yes, a beautiful day, my wake-up day, and you're just like oh it's such a beautiful day when you go fuck.
Speaker 2:It doesn't have to be this way and it's beautiful there is a really like this is such a poignant question right now because there is a mass awakening happening oh yeah if you, if you were on the tiktoks, like fuck man, people are waking up, they're going.
Speaker 2:It doesn't need to be like this mass awakening happening. Oh yeah, if you, if you were on the tick tocks, like fuck man, people are waking up, they're going. It doesn't need to be like this. Uh huh. There are people out there that are not living like this. Like holy shit, you can make money literally doing anything. There are people like you. There are people that are awake. There are people that want to make a difference in the world. You're not alone. It doesn't look like this for everyone. You just got to choose.

Speaker 1:I know our favorite stuff. Well, because it's I mean, I, this is, this is what I live by. As a pleasure priestess, I, too, created my own title, but, like, this is what I live by and it's been so powerful in my life and to hold space for clients and remind them of their truth, there is no higher honor. There is no higher honor, and every time, I'm humbled and just so grateful to be able to serve people in this way. And yeah, it's, I mean, yeah, we're very fucking passionate about it.
